Owen Barton
Owen is an Irish actor and writer from Galway, with bases in both Dublin and Galway. Owen can currently be seen as Osparkr in the latest series of Vikings VALHALLA for Netflix. Prior to that, Owen featured opposite Charlie Cox as Dr.Sam Rooney in the TV series KIN for RTE/BBC and starred as Frank in feature film Soulsmith Owen won the Best Supporting Actor award for his performance in The Seal at the 2015 Underground Cinema Awards in Dun Laoghaire. Recently he worked on the Morgan Brothers feature Froggie, filmed in Galway and set to be released later in 2024.
Owen trained at Ireland’s Gaiety School of Acting and the Galway Actor’s Workshop.
