In 2023, Rachel’s short film script Grando won the Puttnam Award at the Fastnet Film Festival. The film, which she subsequently directed and co-produced, in association with Cork County Council, is due to appear on the festival circuit 2024. 

Other works include Measuring Stick and Attend to Your Mask First, which she wrote and starred in, and were featured on the Irish and UK festival circuits. Her radioplay Jumping for Joy was produced by Near.FM, in association with BAI, and was selected as part of an anthology of emerging female playwrights. Her short story The Johns was shortlisted for the RTÉ Francis McMahon Story Competition, and was later long listed for Virgin Media Discovery Award, as an adapted animation.
